Cute and cuddly Christmas Card - Kanban Crafts Betsie Bob Stamps

Good Morning, It's a bit autumnal out there wind and leaves everywhere, so I'm tucked up in my office making some gorgeous cards.
I have one for you now, it's a large card this time and measures 8"x8" and is made using Kanban Crafts Betsie Bob Stamp set - called Across the Miles. The stamp was originally released in 2010 so it's an oldie but a goodie.

It stamps so well, I have used Memento Black Tuxedo Ink on normal white card stock and coloured using Letraset Promarker pens.

Here is a close up of the finished image using on the card. Below is the stages of colouring for you in case you'd like to have a go too.

I have layered the image using the Kanban Crafts Card stock that came with the stamp set, added matching ribbon from Meiflower Crafts, glitter washi tape from Express Yourshelves Crafts shop in Coventry and a Wooden snowflake from my local Hobbycraft store.

A fun and cute Christmas card.

Week 159 At Glitter N Sparkle Challenge - Cute Halloween

Good Morning from here is the rather dull looking West Midlands today.
This weeks challenge is all about getting spooky ready for Halloween and we have gone with a cute theme to it.
A great one for the kids that's for sure.

My assignment was to choose from Sami's Stamps and is called My Witch & Whiskers

I decided to make my design into a Trick or Treat collecting bag so this is a A4 size topper which I have stuck down on a Brown Kraft bag.

The backing is stamped from a Stampin Up Stamp set. I have used Glitter washi tape to add fun to the corners and tied with green & orange satin ribbon.

Now for the beautiful image. My Witch & Whiskers is so cute and as great to colour thanks to Sami's great illustration.
The colours I have used are:
Letreaset Promarkers:
Warm Grey 4 & 5 - For the dress
Black - Hat
Lime Zest & Lime Twist - Witches Skin
Amethyst & Purple - Witches Hair
Cool Grey 1, 3 & 4 - Witches Cat
Forest Green - Band on the Witches Hat.
I have used the blender pen in places
And finished with Dovecraft glitter glue on the Spiders string.

So who fancies joining in the fun over at Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog?
All you have to do is make a cute Halloween Project and add your Link to the blog post for this week.
Then the lucky winners will be selected next week and will win some amazing images from
East WindSweet Pea StampsSami's StampsDigital Delights who are this weeks sponsors.

I have also submitted this design over at Crafting for all seasons Bags & Boxes Challenge for week 112. So fingers crossed they will like it too.

Kanban Crafts Awesome new Kit - Woodland Friends

I'm very pleased to be able to announce the latest collection by Kanban Crafts is the beautiful Woodland Friends Kit.

As part of the Design Team I get the chance to create with these kits ready for the shows on Create & Craft TV. I had an idea what the kit was like after a trip to the factory recently and in my head a theatre scene was a must. So on Tuesday when the kit arrived I made my own off the cuff Theatre scene using the beautiful elements and here it is.

I used the flooring backing sheet from the kit to make the stage floor box, a pretty backing sheet folded like a fan to create the curtains which I tied a ribbon as a tie back. The top layer is from the same card and I made a folding roof with a die cut frontage to add to the curtain effect.

The inside shot from above shows you the layers or back drops for the scene.

A close up of the layers inside the scene.

I even did shot with the spot light shining through :)

Here are rest of my samples which you should be able to see on Monday on the shows at 4pm & 7pm with Sue & Keith.

The fox card above I have added Glossy Accents on to the red flowers and the embellishments have also been resin'd to give a lovely finish.

As you can see the kit is stunning and has so many uses not just cards but for home décor too.

Tune in to Create & Craft Tv at 4pm for the first show and then again at 7pm to grab your kit and all the lovely extras available to coordinate with it.
