Here is my first attempt at Vintage Steampunk themed cards and I'm quite pleased. I have mainly used Kanban backings (Cogs backing sheet & Acetate Paris sheet) and the embellishment is from a Kanban sheet of 6 stunning ladies. I distressed a scallop die cut to back the image and distressed the sentiment which I stamped from a Woodware stamp set I had.
Here is a cheeky little card that I have made using an usual shape card blank design and then used the Pollycraft Design Challenge theme of Chocolate to make this card into a choccie monster card.
I've used Stampin up backing in paper in brown and then coloured the funny monster digi image (from pollycraft) who is tucking into a very yummy looking chocolate egg and finished with flowers and a craftwork card sentiment "Love Chocolate".
It is my friend Becky's birthday this weekend and I decided to decorate my own gift bag for her rather than pop to the shops to pick one up and here is the finished item.
I have used various backing papers and matted them up to create the layers and then added a chipboard letter B (for Becky, obviously), then a very cute Lili of the valley Die cut of mice and champagne. I finished the bag with a sentiment from a free gift from a magazine a got the other day, which just finished it off nicely.
More projects hopefully this evening whilst the sticky tape is flowing.
Wow, this week is going so quickly and I have so much I want to do, but keep getting side tracked by some amazing peoples blogs like http://saturatedcanary.blogspot.co.uk/ Krista's designs are amazing I just had to put a cheeky little order in for her digi images but I can see that I will be buying more of these from this very talented lady.
